Reservation & Booking Policies
Age Requirements: Guests must be at least 21 years of age to book a room at Bahama Bay. On arrival, the lead guest must be at least 21 years of age to check-in, and have government issued identification showing proof of identity and age.
Credit Card and Deposit Policy: A major credit card must be presented at check-in to cover any incidental charges. A preauthorized damage deposit charge of $200 will be completed at check-in, and canceled after check-out subject to confirmation of no room damage or missing items.
Acceptable forms of payment: Bookings may be secured using a major credit card. At the resort, major credit cards, cash, and traveler's cheques are accepted. Personal checks are not accepted.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations within 3 days prior to arrival result in a cancellation charge equal to one night's accommodation at the booked rate, plus tax. Arrival date changes within 3 days prior to arrival may be allowed without additional charge over non-peak periods at the resort's discretion, subject to availability.
Taxes: All bookings are subject to 13% sales tax.
Departure Cleaning & Resort Fee: At Bahama Bay, guests will enjoy all the comforts of luxury vacation villas, which range from approximately 1,100 sq ft to 1,700 sq ft. This deluxe home away from home experience requires a one-time departure cleaning fee of $65 + tax payable locally at the resort on check-in. Also, a Resort Fee of $5.95 + tax per night payable locally at the resort on check-in applies to all bookings. The Resort Fee includes unlimited FREE DVD Rentals, unlimited domestic telephone calls, free wireless internet in the Clubhouse and Restaurant areas.
Non-Smoking: All buildings and guest units are non-smoking. Smoking is allowed in the outdoor areas only, such as certain common areas around the resort property, and the guest unit patios and balconies. When smoking on the outdoor patio and balcony areas, please keep the sliding glass doors closed to avoid smoke entering the guest unit. Smoking in guest units, or smoking on the patio and balcony areas that results in the guest unit smelling of smoke, will result in a minimum $250 additional cleaning charge.
Alcoholic Beverages: Guests must be at least 21 years of age to consume or purchase alcoholic beverages at Bahama Bay.
No Pets; Pet Boarding: Sorry, pets are not allowed at Bahama Bay. However, pet boarding is readily available at the Four Corners Animal Hospital, located on Highway US-27, about 5 minutes from Caribe Cove. For pet boarding inquiries, please call the Four Corners Animal Hospital during normal business hours at: (352) 242-1950. Bahama Bay is not responsible for any matters relating to pet boarding. Unauthorized pets at Bahama Bay will result in a minimum $250 additional cleaning charge and eviction from the resort. The no pets policy does not apply to service animals assisting guests with special needs.
Maximum Occupancy: Two-bedroom villas accommodate a maximum of 6 people. Three-bedroom villas accommodate a maximum of 8 people.
