Reservation & Booking Policies
Age Requirements: Guests must be at least 21 years of age to book a room at Bahama Bay Resort & Spa. On arrival, the lead guest must be at least 21 years of age to check-in, and have government issued identification showing proof of identity and age.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations within 14 days prior to arrival result in a cancellation equal to one night’s accommodation at the booked rate, plus tax. Arrival date changes within 14 days prior to arrival may be allowed without additional charge over non-peak periods at the resort’s discretion, subject to availability.
Taxes: All bookings are subject to 13% sales tax.
Departure Cleaning Fee: At Bahama Bay Resort & Spa, guests will enjoy all the comforts of luxury vacation villas, which range from approximately 1,116 sq ft to 1,739 sq ft. This deluxe home away from home experience requires a one-time departure cleaning fee of $65 payable locally at the resort on arrival.
Pets and Pet Boarding: Sorry, pets are not allowed at Bahama Bay Resort & Spa. However, pet boarding is readily available at the Four Corners Animal Hospital, located on Highway US-27, about 5 minutes from Bahama Bay Resort & Spa. For pet boarding inquiries, please call the Four Corners Animal Hospital during normal business hours at: (352) 242-1950. Bahama Bay Resort & Spa is not responsible for any matters relating to pet boarding. Unauthorized pets at Bahama Bay Resort & Spa will result in a minimum $200 additional cleaning charge and eviction from the resort. The no pets policy does not apply to service animals assisting guests with special needs.
Smoking: All buildings and guest Villas are non-smoking. Smoking is allowed in the outdoor areas only, such as patios and balconies. Smoking in guest Villas will result in a minimum $200 additional cleaning charge.
Credit Card and Deposit Policy: At the time of booking the resort will require payment of room, tax and applicable fees. A major credit card must be presented at check-in to cover any incidental charges. A preauthorized damage deposit charge of $200 will be completed at check-in, and canceled on check-out subject to confirmation of no room damage or missing items.
Acceptable forms of payment: Bookings may be secured using a major credit card. At the resort, major credit cards, cash, and traveler’s cheques are accepted. Personal checks are not accepted.
